Mitt Romney's losses in Alabama and Mississippi underscore a stark reality: The core of his party does not want him.

To paraphrase The Rolling Stones:

You don't always get what you want/but if you try sometime/I think you'll find/you get exactly what you got comin'.

If there was any clearcut karma in the world they'd get a Santorum/Gingrich ticket. I'd love it, but they'll get Romney and then they'll lose, just not as badly.
